    How often do you need an oil change?

    Regularly changing the oil and oil filter will help with the life of your engine by ensuring the moving components are lubricated and clean. Check your Oil Life Monitoring System in the vehicle for how much oil life percentage is left, or check in the owner's manual for the maintenance schedule (or give us a call). An oil change should be done at least every year at a minimum regardless of how many miles you do.

    Chevrolet and GMC (General Motors) recommend using a proper grade of oil to ensure your Chevy or GMC continues to run the way it was designed. These are in stock at our parts department, and if you schedule an oil change with us, our certified technicians will use the correct oil for your vehicle. Recommended oils include:

    • ACDelco dexos1™ Full Synthetic Oil

    • Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Oil
