2023 Chevy Tahoe

The Tahoe is available in appealing exterior colors such as Auburn Metallic, Radiant Red, Midnight Blue Metallic, and Empire Beige Metallic. You can choose from six trim levels: the LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High Country. For the new model year, an RST Performance Edition package is also offered. The base trim is equipped with an impressive range of standard features. Besides 18-inch aluminum wheels and black assist steps, the trim comes with heated and power-adjustable side mirrors, roof-mounted side rails, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. LED daytime running lights and LED headlights and taillights are also provided as standard gear. The LT trim adds a hands-free power liftgate, and the RST trim comes with 22-inch bright machined wheels and wheel locks. Added features on the Z71 trim include 20-inch aluminum wheels and a front fascia with a high-approach angle. With the Premier trim, you can expect 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, a driver-side auto-dimming side mirror, and chrome exterior accents. The High Country trim rides on 22-inch premium painted wheels.

You can choose from three engines with the Tahoe. A capable 5.3-liter V-8 engine generates 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. For an even more spirited output of 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, opt for the available 6.2-liter V-8 engine. Diesel power is provided by a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel engine, which has an output of 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. All engines are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

With the Tahoe, you can expect excellent ride and handling. The SUV provides light and accurate steering and the suspension system smooths out most of the rough patches on the road. For an even smoother ride, opt for the available magnetic ride control system, which automatically adjusts the shock absorbers of the SUV according to the changes in the road. If you're into a more performance-focused driving experience, opt for the new RST Performance Edition package, which includes front and rear Brembo brakes, police-spec Firestone Firehawk tires, and a performance-calibrated steering wheel.

The cabin of the Tahoe is fitted with spacious and comfortable seats for between seven to nine passengers, depending on the configuration you opt for. With 25.5 cubic feet of space, the rear area is roomy. Folding down the two rear rows opens up a maximum cargo space of 122.9 cubic feet. The standard 8-inch infotainment system is well-equipped. You receive six speakers, Bluetooth, SiriusXM, USB data ports, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Available upgrades include a 10.2-inch touch-screen, wireless charging, and a 10-speaker Bose surround-sound system. Other available items include heated and ventilated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather upholstery, and memory settings.

A comprehensive suite of driver-assist systems comes standard across all trims. Standard features include a following distance indicator, forward-collision alert, front pedestrian braking, and front and rear park assist. You also receive a passenger sensing system, an HD rear-vision camera, and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning.
