Terrain SLE

For the 2022 model of the Terrain GMC has dropped the old base trim (the SL) in favor of the SLE trim, which is an impressively appointed starting point for the Terrain. The SLE, like all other 2022 Terrain trim levels, comes standard with a 170 horsepower 1.5L turbocharged engine with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The SLE (and the SLT above it) come standard with front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available for drivers who prefer it.

The SLE comes with a host of great entertainment and safety features, including cruise control, keyless open, a push-button start, active noise cancellation technology, a 4.2-inch driver information display, and much more. For safety features, the SLE comes standard with automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning, and automatic high beams, among other things.

Terrain SLT

The SLT runs on the same powertrain as the SLE, with the same optional all-wheel drive, but adds in tons of great new features to everything the SLE included. Some of the standout features of this trim level are heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, an HD rear-vision camera, an upgraded 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a suite of additional driver assistance features, which includes rear cross-traffic alert, among many other features.

Terrain AT4

The Terrain AT4 is a new trim level for the 2022 year, and gives drivers a taste of the off-road life. All-wheel drive is standard on the AT4, and it includes other features to get drivers off the beaten path, like a front skidplate, traction select with off-road mode, and 17-inch gloss-black wheels with Goodyear Sport Terrain tires. The available head-up display helps drivers see vital information while keeping an eye on the road ahead.

Terrain Denali

The top tier trim level for the 2022 Terrain, the Denali is a perfect blend between a luxury driving experience and the capability to still hit the trails and do some light off-roading. Like the AT4, the Denali comes standard with all-wheel drive. It includes all of the features the SLT does, including the available packages, and adds a head-up display, premium Bose audio system, an upgraded suspension system, 19-inch styled wheels, and more.
