You can start the trail by parking your vehicle at the Richard H. Thornton Library, 210 Main St. Maps are available from the Downtown Economic Development Corporation at 300 Williamsburg St. 5. Explore Falls Lake State Recreation Area This state park is just a 15-minute drive from town, so jump in your GMC Terrain for an adventure. Falls Lake State Recreation Area in Wake Forest offers 25 miles of hiking trails, 14 miles of biking trails, fishing, picnic shelters, and bird watching. This spot is small, but it offers genuine flavor at good prices. Everything here is authentic, delicious, and full of flavor. It reads authentic Mexican all day long. When you're here, try the pupusas, the chicharrones, and the gorditas. Their spicy can be made extra spicy (and you should ask for it if you can handle it), and they also make their own homemade fruit drinks.
