The Remarkable Trailering

Every trim comes with essential trailering equipment to help you safely connect your trailer. The standard Trailering package includes a trailer hitch, trailering hitch platform, and a two-and-a-half-inch receiver hitch with a two-inch insert. You’ll also have a seven-wire electrical harness and seven-pin sealed connector. This allows you to smoothly connect the lights and brakes for the trailer.

Hitch guidance is also included. This fantastic feature activates when you’re driving in reverse. It will helpfully display a centered guideline on your touchscreen using the rear vision camera. The guideline makes it easier to see a clear path for hitching up your trailer.


The Adjustable Trailering Mirrors

The available Black outside power-adjustable vertical trailering mirrors add excellent visibility to your trailering experience. These mirrors have heated upper glass and lower convex mirrors for a wider view where you need it. This feature also comes with integrated turn signal indicators. The mirrors can be extended up to 3.31 inches to help you get the right view.


The Driver Assistance Technology

Front pedestrian braking, forward collision alert, and automatic emergency braking are a few of the excellent safety monitoring features included in the standard driver assistance technology package. Sierra HD Pro Safety also includes buckle to drive, following distance indicator, and automatic high beams. Lane departure warning will send you an alert any time it notices the truck is drifting out of the original lane.

Adaptive cruise control is also available. This can be paired with available adaptive cruise control with trailering. This excellent feature will take the trailer into account and increase the braking distance appropriately.
