3. Blown-Glass Pumpkin Patch
About a 20-minute drive from Oxford in Creedmoor, Cedar Creek Gallery fills its space with hundreds of delicate, beautiful blown-glass pumpkins made by local artisans. Browse the unique selection and bring home your favorites to elevate your holiday decorating this year. The pumpkin patch exhibit will be open from September 13 to October 31.
Cedar Creek Gallery is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It’s located at 1150 Fleming Rd in Creedmoor.
4. Rocky Horror Picture Show Ball
The Carolina Theatre, about a 30-minute drive from Oxford in Durham, will host this fun event on Thursday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. This annual tradition involves a showing of the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show along with dazzling light effects, sing-alongs, special effects, and fun surprises.
