A Tour of the Cabin

The Yukon XL’s interior lives up to its name, featuring eight-way power-adjustable heated front bucket seats, a power-release 60/40-split folding second-row bench with heated outboard seats, and a 60/40-split power-reclining third-row bench. The eight cozy seats are trimmed in CoreTec and perforated leather, and the cabin features carpeted floor mats in both the front and rear.

USB ports are integrated into the front center console, and the cabin includes an 11-inch full-color driver information-center screen and an extra-large 16.8-inch LCD infotainment screen with built-in Google. In the Yukon XL Elevation, you’ll find an integrated 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, a heated steering wheel, memory functions for the driver’s seat and side-view mirrors, tri-zone automatic climate control, Keyless Open, Remote Start, and full OnStar and GMC Connected Access capabilities.

The Yukon XL’s Capabilities

The newest Yukon XL Elevation is powered by a robust 5.3-liter eight-cylinder engine with automatic stop/start for reduced emissions and a disable switch. With an Autotrac two-speed transfer case, the Yukon XL can detect wheel slip and adjust torque distribution to significantly enhance traction. The Yukon’s premium smooth-ride suspension is finely tuned for exceptional ride comfort on and off the road. All four-wheel-drive models are equipped with four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The base model offers the option to swap the 5.3-liter engine for a three-liter Duramax turbo-diesel producing 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque, while higher trims come with a powerful 6.2-liter eight-cylinder engine with 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The Denali Ultimate serves as the lineup’s highest trim, featuring an adaptive air-ride suspension, dual exhaust outlets, an electronic limited-slip differential, and magnetic ride control.
